Audrey Hepburn

Star of Breakfast at Tiffany’s actress Audrey Hepburn is the greatest style icon of the world. She was born on May 4, 1929 in Brussels in Belgium. She has won an Emmy, Tony, Grammy and Academy Award. She was known for beauty, elegance and grace. At the age of 22, Audrey went to New York to act in the Broadway production of Gigi. Hepburn was friends with famous fashion designers of that time and hence wore the best of clothes of that era. She was a philanthropist also and in her later years she became a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF. Audrey’s little black dress trend is still a massive hit. She is the reason for fashion’s obsession with LBD till now.

Grace Kelly


Grace Kelly’s style was classy, royal and sophisticated. She had an impeccable style. Hermes has given one of their purse designs, Grace Kelly’s name ‘The Kelly Bag’. She was born in Philadelphia in 1929. She started acting and become popular with her movie High Noon. She was an Academy award winner too. Later she married Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956. Her mystery always enchanted the world. Her ensembles tailored outfits, perfect fits, on screen beauty and the grace with which she always carried herself, always caught media’s attention. After her death, The Grace Kelly (1985) and The Grace of Monaco (2014) aired, based on the life of Grace Kelly. She did several movies and was considered one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. She married Prince Rainier on April 1956 and moved to Monaco in order to become a princess. She gave up her acting career and her American Citizenship also. Prince Rainier banned her films in Monaco after that. After her marriage, she got involved in charitable organizations in Monaco.

Marilyn Monroe


Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, California. In 1946, she signed her first movie and changed her name to Marilyn Monroe. After that she did hit movies like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Marry a Millionaire, The Seven Years.
After doing so many movies Monroe moved to New York city to study acting with Lee Strasberg at the actors studio. Marilyn Monroe died at 36 years of age on August 5, 1962. Speculations were made that she was murdered and the cause of her death was due to drug overdose. There were rumours that she was involved with President John F. Kennedy. After so many years, she is still considered one of the most famous icons of beauty and fashion!
Monroe had a charm of her own, that nobody could ever imitate. She had an aura, grace, style and sense of humour. It is said that once a reporter asked Marilyn what she thought of Hollywood, she said, “If I close my eyes and think of Hollywood, all I see is one big varicose vein.”
