Shelby Cobra 427 (1966)

One of the most iconic cars ever made, Shelby Cobra 427 came into existence in 1962. This car is a classic outcome of one of the most terrific automobile collaboration ever done when Ford and Carroll Hall Shelby worked together with Ace Engines on V8. Also called Super Snake, this car came with a slogan ìCobra to end all Cobrasî. Twin tube chassis and straight line performance are a cobra speciality. Initially it was designed as a motorsport vehicle but due to incompetent production Shelby cobra came to a standstill and was later reintroduced as the fastest street car. Initially made just 53 in number, now celebrating 53 years of its existence, this is a true automobile marvel Shelby Cobra 427.

Jaguar E Type (1961)

Jaguar E type is a British sports car manufactured by Jaguar Ltd between 1961 to 1975. This beauty with high performance, alluring design and competitive pricing was a blast in the automobile industry. An icon of its time, Jaguar E- Type gained popularity as soon as it was unveiled at the Geneva Salon in 1961. With a one piece, hinged forward bonnet, cowled headlights and stripped taillights it became a trend setter. Designed by Malcolm Sayer and William Lyons this immensely strong sports car made its way into people’s heart in a very short period of time. Cinematically famous as the ‘James Bond Car’, Aston Martin DB5 is a 2 door car with all leather trim, electric windows, chrome wire wheels and magnesium alloys. Aston Martin DB5 is signature style of all the James Bond movies. DB series was initially introduced by Aston Martin to honour Sir David Brown, owner of Aston Martin. DB series overall was not very popular but DB5 is the rock star of the series. Often billed as ‘The World’s most famous car’, DB5 had grilling disc brakes and 15 inch wheels. It comes in 2 different models convertible and saloon. High performance DB5 Vantage was introduced in 1964 with revised camshaft profiles.

Designed and assembled by Ferrari, Maserati Ghibli 4.7 is the best example of classic perfection. This particular model is followed by its fast and furious successor.

Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing (1957)

Generally in manufacturing, the street version comes first followed by the racing version, but Mercedes 300 SL was directly derived from a sports car that won Carerra Panamericana in 1952. A fully independent suspension and gull wing doors were the signature features of Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing. Four wheel disc brakes, aluminium body, a snug top with a modified tube frame complimented the conventional roll up doors with roll up windows. SL came in two bodies convertible and coupe.
