COVID-19 has changed our lives with a profound impact on our lives. For some, the consequences have been particularly severe for working class population, resulting in the loss of jobs (and loved ones during the pandemic). Even as the internet and technology have brought revolution and changes in the way we perceive work productivity post pandemic yet it has made our work-culture lazy in some ways. The concept of remote working gained global popularity as a response to the economic challenges posed by COVID-19, as retaliation to what the pandemic COVID-19 has done, along with highlighting the need for adaptive solutions amidst adversity.
There are some potential advantages of working in the office atmosphere that are worth considering. Here are some of them:

Collaboration – Individuals need to understand the difference between being physically and virtually present as working from an office offers multiple advantageous discussions, brainstorming sessions, and idea exchange sessions. Although the bonds formed through personal interactions are considered really helpful in replicating challenges and crises, but they also turn beneficial for career growth.

Organized Work Environment – Office spaces provide a structured and professional setting, which significantly influences productivity as it is just yours. Hence, it’s important to maintain a line between workspace and personal space as it helps individuals establish a clear boundary between their professional and personal lives.

Access to Advanced Resources and Technology –We are living in an era of advance technology and office environments are lashed with the latest tools, and resources that are essential for efficient working. While remote setups may rely on personal devices, offices ensure a standardized and well-maintained technological infrastructure.

Guidance and Professional Growth – One of the major advantages of working from the office is guidance from your mentor which may be lacking in remote working. Office working lets you set in the working environment and you may get beneficial insights related to your career, facilitating a seamless exchange of knowledge and skills that will ultimately help you in your career.

Corporate Culture – This physical office culture plays a pivotal role in shaping and inculcating organizational culture in individuals, as working in the office fosters a sense of belonging to that place which may significantly contribute to employee satisfaction and retention.

Perfect Communication – While technology enables effective communication over distances, face-to-face interactions remain unparalleled. Insights that non-verbal communication provides, it lacks in virtual communication. In-person interactions help in building stronger interpersonal relationships and prevent misunderstandings.

Workplace Well-being – One needs to be stable and subtle while working and companies invest in creating comfortable and conducive environments that promote the health and happiness of their workforce that may be absent in home.
