Grub Fest, India’s biggest food festival with the best restaurants displaying their signature delicacies over some good music and hearty performances, finally came to Chandigarh after being a huge success in metro cities life Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and gave the tricity people a weekend to cherish, savour and relish. We take a look at the best of the yummylicious food we found there.

 

  1. Hug! hug

In the beseeching summers, their frozen yogurts were relished by the crowds with immense delight. What is more? Their yogurts are made 97 percent fat free! Health and taste mingled together in a cup. They also serve Brownie, Donut, Gelato Cake, Yoghurt Ice Cream, Ice Cream Cake, Red Velvet Cupcake.

  1. Upstairs club 24 seven

An upcoming restaurant by Hotel Bella Vista, it served finger-licking good Italian pizzas and gelatos. You feel like you’re in Italy with every bite you take. Their Italian is the best we have in city. The café is a treat to all your senses with the amazing aromas, gourmet products that will make you go weak in the knees. And, do crave for desserts because you will get a huge variety of colours & flavours that can’t be resisted.

  1. Buns burnWith their quirky decors and world class buns, Buns won the hearts of everyone with its quality and taste. The divine taste, aroma and flavor of its buns make for a heavenly treat. They also served smoothies, drinks and ice. They also served vegan wraps and fries.

  1. 24 Seven
    upstairs club

Based in Chandigarh, they enthralled the visitors with their unique collection of portable drinks & packed foods of the brands like frutessa, Veefresh & many more which are not easily accessible in India. A first in India, these stores are the only organised retail chains  with the vision of becoming an indispensable part of the lives of people in every community.

  1. Nabobs Indie Café nababs

With their nazza (naan pizzas), gosht bhalla chaat, Baluchi Kebab, Watermelon Lemonades, Bar Martini and much more; this outlet won hearts of everyone with their exotic flavours complemented with delicious drinks. Nabobs captivated the café & pub culture by its reverence to Punjabi culture, gourmet food, coffee & designer drinks. Where? SCS 2, Inner Market, Sector 9 D, Chandigarh

Recently in limelight in tricity for serving healthy, delicious and organic food, Aja served its signature Vietnamese cold coffee and freshly pressed juices to woo the hearts of the Chandigarhites. Fresh, grilled and healthy, they served the best of continental, Italian and Mexican cuisine.

  1. The Food Art factory  The food art factory

An initiative by mother-daughter duo, Koel & Indu based in Delhi, they served the most delicious home-made jams and pickles. Irresistible & healthy, it was difficult for people to resist their matchless delicacies. Catering to the expansive palate, their products ranged from the mild to hot; sweet to the tangy & spicy offering homemade & mouthwatering pickles, chutneys, jams, & preserves & a side of tea time savories.
