US Open 2026 Fashion: 7 Looks That Stole the Spotlight

Flushing Meadows has always moonlighted as a runway. This year, though, Arthur Ashe barely resembled a Grand Slam at all — it looked more like fashion week that happened to have a net running through the middle. Nike went all in on a basketball-inspired theme for its roster. Stylists like Law Roach showed up courtside. Even heritage houses, Thom Browne and Bottega Veneta among them, got in on the action. Here are the seven looks that made the 2026 US Open the season’s best style story, hands down.

Naomi Osaka — Thom Browne x Nike

Osaka’s second-round walk-on was pure Thom Browne: a flowing, netted white jacket, utilitarian buttons, those signature grey stripes, even tiny, embroidered tennis rackets worked into the fabric. Underneath, a metallic silver Nike skirt and a tank that borrowed straight from basketball jerseys

Aryna Sabalenka — Nike

Sabalenka came out to defend her title in an orange mesh-paneled Nike dress over a solid underlay. Then there was the necklace: a custom 127-carat gold Material Good “Prism” piece, sapphires and tourmalines and tanzanites catching the light. Maximalism, and she wore it well.

Stefanos Tsitsipas — Adidas

Tsitsipas kept it to Adidas essentials — a dot-textured white tee, deep maroon shorts edging into burgundy, a black headband and matching wristband. White sneakers finished it off. Restrained, functional, exactly what you’d expect from someone who lets the tennis do the talking

Alexandra Eala — Nike

The Philippines’ breakout star went with a royal blue Nike dress, sheer mesh panels along the sides, white piping for contrast. Globe’s sponsor branding sat across the chest; mint-green sneakers closed out the look. Fresh, sporty, fitting for a player having the run of her career.

Taylor Townsend — Anthony Lattimore

For HBCU Live, stylist J. Bolin put Townsend in a custom Anthony Lattimore piece — navy and neon-orange sequins, zippered piping across the bodice, a pleated skirt to match. The whole thing was a nod to drumline dressing, a tribute to Morgan State University’s marching band.

Carlos Alcaraz — Nike x Travis Scott Cactus Jack

Travis Scott handled Alcaraz’s walkout kit, and it showed — a loose ombré tank fading from brown to cream, matching shorts with white piping, and cream Nike Zoom Vapor 12 Cactus Jack sneakers with brown accents. Streetwear, basically, dressed up for center court.

Novak Djokovic — Lacoste

Djokovic didn’t try to compete on spectacle. All black — Lacoste polo, matching shorts — with the crocodile logo and a Qatar Airways patch as the only real detail. Sharp, quiet, and honestly just as commanding as anything louder on the draw.

Tennis fashion shook off the last of its all-white habits for good this year, and somewhere along the way, Flushing Meadows stopped being just a tennis tournament. It became a style summit, one where people waited on the walk-on almost as much as the first serve.
