How did you start your journey as a model?
I was working at The Times of India (Worldwide Media) in the brand solutions (Marketing & Sales) team of Home & Design Trends, Grazia, Hello, Good Homes and Femina Spa & Salon. The former fashion editor of Grazia Ekta Rajani encouraged me to give modelling a shot and introduced me to Gunita and Mark.
What does your morning routine includes?
If I am at the comfort of my house, a massive mug of my mum’s tea followed by a workout with my trainer who plays a key role in my physical fitness. If I am away then a coffee or matcha with my favourite cereal (a berry-licious or chocolate flavoured granola with some seeds) and workouts happen as and when I get the time and energy in the day.
How much is privacy important to you in this age of social media?
Extremely, as much as I would like to share my journey with people, I’d like to draw a line when it comes to certain aspects of my life such as personal and family life.
If your days had an extra hour, what you would do?
Paint or create (if I can get myself to stop being lazy and excessively consumed by the other things that require more of my attention and energy)
Your favourite makeup artist?
I am grateful to have worked with many and they were all extremely talented and unique in their own way and since I don’t understand much about makeup I respect and love each and every one of their work.
Do you watch TV shows if yes which is your all-time favourite show?
I do but I am never consistent with any, I have loved cosmos and that 70s show is my all-time favourite. I love good documentaries too. Who shot the sheriff, Being the one, I watched last.
What does fashion mean to you?
Anything that brings out the best in you in your most comfortable space. It could be jeans and hoodie for that matter
Most memorable modelling moment?
There are so many, but I guess my escapade/shoot to Dharamshala. We ended the shoot, chilling on a mountain top and just taking in everything that was around.
Who is your 3 am friend?
My school and college friends. We are together for 10 years now and they will always be my go to people.
What advice would you give to a 16 year old you?
Just go with it, life need not to be taken too seriously all the time.

Rihanna and Snoop Dogg
The most treasured item in your closet?
My crystals & peace sign pendants.
One thing you cannot live without?
My phone

Your biggest style regret?
My fringe boots at the expense of sore feet
Your advice to young models?
Don’t be so hard on yourselves.
Your fitness mantra?
Just listen to your body and do what feels good.
Favourite holiday destination – I have been to Bali and I loved it. But it’s got to be either a beach or the mountains
Favourite food – chocolate flavoured anything
Favourite movie – Up
Favourite Book – I am currently reading Hippie by Paulo Coelho and I love it.
