The iconic Forest Hill Resort (FHR), nestled in the pristine Shivalik foothills near the Sukhna Wildlife Sanctuary, has announced a major transformation aimed at redefining luxury eco-tourism in North India.
As part of its reinvention, the 2,000-acre eco-sanctuary has unveiled an all-new luxury clubhouse, marking a significant milestone in its evolution into a premium wilderness lifestyle destination. The launch event saw key representatives including Senior Director Devinder Sandhu, General Manager Karan Datta, and chefs Amardeep Singh and Arshi Naeem share insights into the project’s vision and offerings.
Positioned as a blend of refined hospitality and immersive nature, FHR’s new direction focuses on sustainability, wellness, and experiential living. “Luxury today is about authenticity, space, and connection with nature,” said Devinder Sandhu, highlighting the resort’s commitment to creating a lifestyle rooted in conscious living and long-term value.

The newly launched clubhouse features a striking glass structure with a clear roof, private dining spaces, and an outdoor venue named ‘Le Jardin’. At its heart is “The Vańa,” the resort’s signature kitchen offering a curated culinary journey. The menu includes estate-style dishes and globally inspired cuisine, with signature items such as Blue Cheese Naan Pockets, Old Delhi Mutton Seekh, Truffle Dal Makhani, Kashmiri Rogan Josh, and desserts like Valrhona Chocolate Fondant and Flamed Vanilla Mille-Feuille.
The resort’s multi-cuisine programme spans Indian, Continental, Pan-Asian, and Oriental offerings, with a strong emphasis on farm-to-table dining using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
A key highlight of the project is its eco-conscious development approach, with less than 20% of the land allocated for construction to preserve the natural ecosystem. Built using local materials and techniques, the resort integrates seamlessly with its surroundings while promoting biodiversity and ecological balance.

FHR also offers over 50 outdoor experiences, including golf, off-roading, horseback riding, hiking, biking, boating, wildlife safaris, bird watching, zip-lining, and dedicated wellness facilities such as a spa and yoga centre.
In a move to elevate its hospitality standards, the resort is in advanced discussions with leading international brands to introduce premium branded residences. It has also partnered with The Ultimate Travelling Camp (TUTC) to manage a wilderness lodge featuring boutique luxury cottages. Upcoming developments include villas and branded residences in collaboration with a global five-star hospitality brand.
Additional infrastructure plans include twin helipads for charter helicopter services and the development of a gated golf estate near Chandigarh.
Spread across lush greenery and bordered by 10,000 acres of protected forest, Forest Hill Resort aims to set new benchmarks in luxury eco-tourism by seamlessly integrating sustainability, nature, and curated lifestyle experiences.
