Veganism has been around since 1944, but some people think of it as a new concept. It is also said that going vegan (in a world of the mostly non – vegan people) takes lot of courage!

Why Go Vegan?
A Vegan diet is much healthier than any other diet. A well planned vegan diet contains all the required nutrients our body needs. A vegan diet helps in our all stages of life. It helps in lowering blood pressure, cholesterol, heart diseases, diabetes and a number of health – related problems. Vegan food gives more nutrition to the body and improves your diet. Add whole grains, fruits, nuts, seeds, vegetables, fibers, vitamins and minerals in your diet and you are good to go.
Many people go vegan for their love for animals. It prevents the exploitation of animals. Avoid all the animal products is the way you can take a valid stand against the exploitation of animals also.

Going Vegan is the Way of Going Greener in Life
Lower quantities of crop and water are required to sustain a vegan diet. The production of animal products places a heavy burden on our environment and its cycle. Relying on animal products for food affects the poorest people all over the world. Being a vegetarian isn’t enough. Our egg and dairy industry also causes a lot of sufferings to the farmed animals. It leads to the death of a number of calves.

How to Go Vegan?
Start by making small changes to your meals. Add plant – based foods in your diet. If you can manage to go vegan overnight, then it would be great. But if you can’t, you can try changing it slowly. Know your pace, change one meal of your day. Go vegan for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can also start by removing meat or dairy products. One day in a week and you don’t have to go out of the budget to go vegan. Vegan food, plant – based alternatives are available and you get all the nutrition you need from it. You get vegan food for every type of junk food in the market.

Embrace Veganism
Veganism is a way to exclude the exploitation of animals for food, clothing and every other purpose. Change into plant based diet and avoid meat and other dairy products. Nowadays a number of food and flavors have been introduced in the new world of vegan. From desert, pizzas, cakes to all the junk food you eat, you get the vegan version of that every food. It also involves animal products and products tested on animals.

Well Planned Vegan Diet
A well planned vegan diet includes all the essential nutrients our body needs. Even it is classified by WHO that vegan diet has more health promoting factors. A Vegan diet also helps in keeping our environment friendly. We don’t have enough land to have an animal based diet. It is a fact that with the growing population there is not enough land to feed an animal based diet and we cannot afford to waste valuable agricultural land which tends to diminish day by day.
