Know the application of makeup brushes and become the master of the game called beauty. Art can’t be magnificent unless you have the perfect brushes to create it. Be it for painting or makeup, good brushes with expertise matter a lot.

Here are a variety of makeup brushes to get the perfect look

1. STIPPLING BRUSH

This brush allows you to gently and evenly apply and blend liquid and cream-based products. Take a small amount of foundation on the bristles, and use the tapping motion to apply the foundation evenly all over your face, then gently move the brush around for an even finish.

2. POWDER BRUSH

Soft, full and rounded, of all the makeup brushes, this brush can be utilized for applying both compact and bronzer. The bristles will pick up the perfect amount of colour and apply flawlessly onto the skin. Just tap off any excess before you sweep it on your face and apply it outwardly and in a circular motion.

3. CONCEALER BRUSH

A soft bristled, flat brush with a wider base and pointed tip is designed to apply concealer to hide your dark spots, pimples, dark circles, or areas of discoloration, and blend to conceal it with your skin.

4. ANGLED BRUSH

Angled brushes generally come in various sizes. Despite its name, an angled brush can be used for anything that requires a straight edge. These brushes look identical but with the difference in the density and stiffness of their bristles.

The various angled makeup brushes are:

  • Angled liner brush
  • Angled eyebrow brush
  • Angled eye-shadow brush
  • Angled contour brush

5. FAN BRUSH

This gentle brush with sparse, soft bristles works to apply blush, shimmer or bronzer on the cheeks. You can even use it remove any leftover flecks of shadow under the eyes.

6. SHADER BRUSH

It is a long, flat brush, brimming with bristles for excellent coverage. The shadow brush can be used to apply both powder and cream-based eye shadow. Go with light strokes and start from inner corner to the outer one.

7. BENT EYE LINER BRUSH

This brush is designed specifically for applying gel or liquid eyeliner. The brush has a bent head that works well on the top of the lashes and glides with ease. The pointed tip helps to create a flawless thin line.

8. BROW AND LASH COMB

The bristle side of this brush is designed to shape the eyebrows or to blend colour for more natural appearance. The comb side can be used for the same purpose, though it’s specifically good at separating mascara-darkened lashes.

9. SMUDGER BRUSH

The Dense bristle of the smudger brush makes it ideal for applying and blending colours. It is mainly used to soften the harsh line of the pencil or gel eyeliner to give a perfect finish.

10. LIP BRUSH

The tip of a lip brush is perfect for achieving a flawless line. The bristles are short and firm to ensure controlled application of lip liner. You can also use the brush to apply lip colour. Start from the centre and work your way out for the right finish.
