No Substitute to Mother’s Love

Spread the love

MOTHER’, ‘MOM’, ‘MAA’, ‘AMMA’- the words for the most beautiful soul have a rich connotation of love and warmth. Without her, none of us would have been here!

It is a common saying that God couldn’t be present everywhere, so he created mothers. Such is the significance of mothers that even the gods needed mothers at a certain point in time during their earthly ‘avatars’.
The role of a mother in raising a child is very significant. Their relationship is the most beautiful and inseparable bond in this world. She is the first person who handholds and teaches a child to stand up on his/her feet! She is the one who acts as the first school for the child. She teaches the child the basics of culture, behaviour and other essential aspects of life. She is the one who sows the seed of greatness in the child, which is only then nourished by the other factors of the child’s life. And she is there for them to help selflessly without expecting anything in return.
When I look back into my life since my birth, I played different roles. A loving daughter and a sister, a devoted wife, mother and a dutiful daughter-in-law, mother-in-law and a grandmother.

LOVED BEING A MOTHER AS A CREATOR

The best feeling I ever had was when I became the creator of the existence of my children. It was an incredible feeling that I could create life.

RAISING THEM RIGHT FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

Motherhood is a choice. When I made this choice, I honoured the privilege of taking responsibility to raise a kind, ethical and independent human being. This recent turn of events in the world has made it even more important that we raise our kids right, provide them with great values, and prepare them for a better tomorrow. Raising compassionate human beings than mere successful ones.

IT IS ALL ABOUT STRIKING A RIGHT BALANCE

I look for a balance in my life. I love my work as much as I love my family and myself. Loving my job doesn’t make me any less of a good mom.
I continued with my passion and dreams from my bucket list even after the age of 50. I participated in Ms India pageant 2019 and got the honour of being the first runner up and after that participated in the Ms India pageant at Chennai and was awarded the title of ‘Queen of Hope’.Running was another passion that created a more fulfilling, thrilling existence and made me feel runners high!

BLESSED TO BE A MOTHER PRINCIPAL

It’s a blessing to be in a profession that I was passionate about, which enabled me to have a more expansive lap of being a mother. Since school is the second home for the children, and as a teacher and a principal, I got the opportunity to be the second mother of thousands of students. It’s such a great feeling to be the inspiration for so many children and making them responsible and good human beings

IT’S ALL WORTH IT

It was challenging to manage kids, but at the end of the day- everything makes sense. When you become a mother, you inevitably become a multitasker! As the famous American author, Mitch Albom said, “When you look into your mother’s eyes, you know that is the purest love you can find on this earth.” No one can deny how much we all find peace and comfort in this unconditional love of a Mother.
