PizzaExpress, the popular UK-based pizza brand, has opened its 30th outlet in India at CP 67, Sector 67, Mohali. Known for its authentic Italian pizzas, pastas, salads, and signature Romana thin-crust pizzas, PizzaExpress offers a unique dining experience with the freshest ingredients.
The new Mohali pizzeria, brought to India by Gourmet Investments Private Limited (GIPL), features a vibrant interior and a diverse menu that caters to all tastes. Alongside classic dishes, the restaurant introduces new offerings like Calzones from Naples, lighter Leggera options, and specialty pizzas like the Calabrese, known for its unique rectangular shape and bold flavors.
Ramit Bharti Mittal, Chairman and Director of GIPL, emphasized the company’s commitment to bringing global dining experiences to India. Krunal Chahwala, Brand CEO of PizzaExpress, expressed excitement about the launch and the brand’s innovative offerings in the region.
PizzaExpress is dedicated to quality, using fresh ingredients such as the signature Tomato Passata sauce made from San Marzano tomatoes. The Mohali outlet also features special recipes crafted to suit local tastes, including the Spicy American Hottest and Padrino pizzas.
