Diljit Dosanjh shoots for Dharma Productions
Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh begins shooting with Kiara Advani for Dharma Productions forth coming film ‘Good News’. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor will also be seen in this film, which will release on July 19 this year. Diljit and Kiara shared a picture on their social media announcing the beginning of the shoot. The film will be a family comedy in which Akshay-Kareena on one hand and Diljit-Kiara on the other hand (playing the role of married couples), are trying to conceive a baby. Diljit also released his next album, Roar, with Neha Sharma in ‘Gulabi Pagg’ song.
Sonam Bajwa opposite Parmish Verma in Singham
Parmish Verma starrer Singham has been in news since the day it was announced but the actress was kept under wrapped. It has finally been announced that Sonam Bajwa will be sharing screen with Parmish Verma in the film. Sonam Bajwa will be essaying the role of Nikki, while Parmish Verma’s onscreen character has been named Dilsher. The film is scheduled to release this year but the exact date hasn’t been disclosed by the makers yet. The actress took it to her social media handle to share the news with the picture from the sets of Singham.
Guru Randhawa is all set for his next single with Pitbull
Singer, songwriter-composer, Guru Randhawa has collaborated with American rapper Pitbull for an international single. Song entitled as ‘Slowly Slowly’, shot in Miami, is produced by Bhushan Kumar and will be released this year. Our song is completely different from everything you have seen so far,” informs Guru, adding that the lyrics are a mix of Punjabi and English. Guru describes the shoot with Pitbull as a “crazy experience”. Whereas Pitbull said, “Aah, we can’t wait! Looking forward for ‘slowly slowly’ making its way around the world quickly”. Pitbull has earlier collaborated with Priyanka Chopra for her second single- “Exotic”.
Mandy Thakkar and Joban Preet kicks off the shoot for ‘Saak’
Slated to release on June 9, 2019, Punjabi actor Mandy Thakkar and Joban Preet have commenced shooting for the film ‘Saak’. Mandy announced the same on her social media and shared a poster of the film. Along with Joban Preet and Mandy Takhar, the movie stars Mukul Dev, Dilawar Sidhu, Rupinder Rupi, Sonpreet Jawanda, Gurdeep Brar and Mahabir Bhullar in significant roles.
Sargun Mehta, Jordan Sandhu’s Kala Shah Kala releasing in 2019
Jordan Sandhu, playing one of the lead roles in upcoming romedy Kala Shah Kala, took to his social media handle to share the announcement of the film with his co-star Sargun Mehta. The movie features Sargun, Jordan and Binnu Dhillon in the lead roles. The movie is scheduled to release on 14 February 2019.
