August 3, 2019 was a super special date! A day when all leading bloggers came on one platform- for a round table conference hosted by The Lifestyle Journalist Magazine to discuss the future of blogging in India. It was an exciting moment for a galaxy of newbie bloggers who came to meet their favorite stars at Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh at the TLJ Bloggers and Social Media Awards 2019.
This conference and award ceremony intended to bring together the much liked bloggers of India to set the future agenda of youth on Blogging and Social Media celebrity news. Moderated by Shruti Singla, an ace fashion designer and stylist of the region who is known for her impeccable ideas and potential in fashion business, the theme of the round conference was – ‘Agenda Setting for the Future of Social Media, Blogging & Youth in India’.
Participants of the conference included Sejal Kumar, Scherezade Shroff, Shivesh Bhatia, Kritika Khurana, among others and interesting insights were documented for communication students, researchers and teaching faculty to study in the years to come.
The conference was followed by an award ceremony- an unprecedented event to honor the heroes of digital world- the winners of People’s Choice and Editor’s Choice Awards.
The award function was a celebration of excellence in the world of blogging and social media. It was attended by the crème-de-la-crème of the region that not just celebrated the felicitation of these bloggers but also participated in making these choices from among 1432 nominations in various categories. The event provided the perfect platform to celebrate those who have worked tirelessly to change the game within their industry- nearly 1.5 million votes was a testimony to the gigantic response to this celebration of bloggers!
B Praak, a celebrated music composer and singer of the region, presided over as the Guest of Honour. The conference was held in the presence of an august assembly of media professionals and researchers, these included Dr. Neha Miglani –Media Researcher and Chief Consulting Editor of The Lifestyle Journalist Magazine along with Mr. Ankur Vadhera, Managing Director, Third Eye Media and Founder of TLJ Magazine, Mr. Umesh Ghai – the CEO of the Third Eye Media and Mr. Varinder Miglani – Chief Advisor of TLJ Magazine.
