Ed Sheeran engaged to his long-time friend Cherry Seaborn
British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, 26 is engaged to his long-term friend Cherry Seaborn, 25 he announced on Instagram last Saturday.
The two began dating in 2015. Last year, a bicycle accident left him with a broken wrist, elbow and rib and he credited her with nursing him back to health, The Guardian said.
He told the Capital Breakfast radio show that “she had to brush my teeth”, and said that she is a “good woman”.
After keeping their engagement top-secret for three weeks, Ed posted: “Got myself a fiancée just before New Year”.
“We are very happy and in love and our cats are chuffed as well xx.” The 26-year-old multi-award-winning star has stated he wants to start a family before he is 30, which means he could hang up his mic in less than four years.
And Ed confirmed he’s already losing his passion to perform.
Ed, nominated for another four BRIT Awards next month, is currently working on his fourth studio album. But those close to him say it could be his last.
