As New Year comes we all make resolutions to make our lives better but we neglect or forget what not to do anymore in the New Year. We have prepared a list of habits that you should ditch now as they may be hindering you from making progress in life.
Complaining about everything
Whether it’s delay in work or a household problem, people tend to complain about something or the other. Complaining is nothing but a negative attitude. Once you stop whining, you will yourself feel more positive and relieved.
Getting Up Late
Waking up early in the morning gives you more time to work. On the other side, getting up late brings down the enthusiasm in you. When you get up late, you start your work late, and after that everything you want to do is postponed somehow.
Blaming someone else for your own life and circumstances is a problem that only you can solve. For how long will you keep giving excuses? You certainly cannot do it all your life and if you do, you will end up being unhappy. So stop giving excuses and start taking responsibility for own decisions.
We often lie to save ourselves as it seems like the only solution at that moment, as it’s the easy way out. But it is totally wrong. Lies only create more lies. You will not be able to see it but once you start using lies as a tool to shield yourself, you will keep on doing it, which will create a delusional life for you.
Criticizing yourself is necessary but it should not kill your confidence. You need to boost your inner strength and personality because no one is going to do it for you. So, every morning stand in front of the mirror and say to yourself, “I look wonderful and I am a caring and a genuine person. I am kind and I will do my best today.” This will make your day brighter and hopefully, you will feel more positive throughout the day.
