3 things that actor Karan Wahi cannot live without! What are they let us find out…

“Yes, it is the first time I am acting in a Bollywood film as a lead! But I am not nervous; I think feeling nervous will be stupid as I have already done the film now. Since it is over now even if I am nervous there is nothing I can do about it!,” says Karan Wahi who has been traveling across various cities along with co-actors Vivan Bhatena and Ihana Dhillon to promote his forthcoming film Hate Story 4.

“It is a hate story you would love,” says Karan satirically on behalf of everyone.
“We too have families. It is a wrong notion that since I am a man so my family will not react to my kissing scenes. We too have some restrictions!” he quips when asked about the kissing scenes in the movie.

“We still live in a society where if the family is watching TV and a condom advertisement appears we do get uncomfortable and change the channel,” he adds.

What doubled his joy was the release of his movie’s date. Karan father’s birthday was on the same date as the release of the movie-March 9.

Three things that Karan cannot live without include food, gym and (friends)! “I am an actor and I am open to every role which challenges me. I have no fixed concepts and since I have done a movie, it does not mean I will not do television series! Let’s see what happens in future,” he shares.

Karan started his acting career in 2004 with the television series ‘Remix’. Not many people know that before his TV stint he was selected to play Under-19 cricket team for Delhi along with Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan but he called it quit owing to a major injury.

Since ‘Remix’ he has done various television shows such as ‘Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari’ and a hit ‘Dill Mill Gayee’ and was also seen on ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ and ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi’ in 2017. Karan was also seen playing a minor but a significant role along with Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapoor in Dawat-e-Ishq.

He directed a short film ‘Have You Met You’ in which he was seen acting under the channel Notorious Owl which had a considerable number of scored a lot of views.

When asked what he loves more out of directing and acting, he says, “I love acting more because I have been doing it for many years now. I directed the short film because the vision I had for it nobody else could see it in that light. I do enjoy direction as well but being an actor is more comfortable for me.”
