Christina is a rare combination of flying high in the sky (literally) and riding high on style too! A commercial pilot based in South Africa, she has also carved a niche as a model. Here is a conversation with the ‘sexy pilot’, as she likes to call herself.
How did you start your journey as a model?
When I was really young my mother would make me enter into all kinds of beauty pageants and shoots so she took me all over the world!
Who is your favorite fashion icon?
Emily Ratakowski & Amal Clooney.
How much is privacy important to you in this age of social media?
In this day and age it’s really hard to keep private life from social media. I try to show all aspects of my journey and life (on social media pages). The highs and the lows. The only thing I keep private is my love life!
What does fashion mean to you?
Sophistication, class & taste- all play a huge role in how one carries themselves.
The most treasured item in your closet?
My Dr Marten boots & Dsqured fanny pack.
What does your morning routine include?
Wake up, first thing wash my face then make a celery juice without fail. It’s helped my skin so much!
One thing you cannot live without?
My family.
What is the best and the worst thing about being a model?
Worst thing- castings. Best thin- traveling!!
What advice would you give to a 16-year-old you?
Just relax! Don’t put so much pressure on yourself to be perfect. We all waste a lot of time doing that.
One beauty product you swear by?
My FOREO Luna 3. Really keeps my face clean and soft after all the make-up.
Three things that are always in your bag?
Cellphone, Charlotte Tilbury lipstick & bank card.
If your days had an extra hour, what you would do?
Omg I really need this!! I never have enough time in a day! I’d use the extra hour to see friends for sure!
Most memorable modeling moment?
Doing a Tvc in Bombay with Akshay Kumar! Or the time I went to Italy and lived there for a month shooting for Miss Italia Nel mondo.

Honey Fowlie. My best friend since school days.

Stay Authentic. No point in trying to look like everyone else. You are your super power!
