2. Eating Right: You might have heard this - you are what you eat. To modify it, you are also how much of what you eat. Eating a healthy diet is not about strict limitations, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Instead, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, improving your health, and boosting your mood. It is not about following fancy diets but incorporating a healthy eating lifestyle and knowing your food. • Incorporate lots of vegetables and fruits • Stay hydrated • Stock up on fluids like lemon water and fresh juices • Eat fresh and home-cooked food! • Include healthy fats and superfoods

3. Make Time for Movement: We know daily exercise is essential for optimising health. Being active has been shown to have many health benefits, both physically and mentally. It may even help you live longer. It helps people keep a healthy weight and lower their risk of some diseases. Minimise the amount of time spent in prolonged sitting and break up long periods of sitting as often as possible. • Go for a run or hit the gym • Practice yoga • Aim for at least 30 mins of physical activity • Spend time with nature • Indulge in-home workout exercises

4. Reading and Writing: Reading and writing are essential in one’s lifetime. For starters, reading helps to expand the mind and give us more ideas. It is the ideal way to relax and calm those anxious nerves constantly at work. You don’t have to be a professional to write; you may consider keeping a diary and writing your favourite quotes, how your day went and more. • Great way to destress • Increases vocabulary • Gives you a fresh perspective • Keeps you grounded • Makes you creative

5. Prioritising Self Care: No matter how indulgent or fancy the term may sound, self-care is crucial for our physical, emotional and mental well-being. In addition, it is essential to develop a strong connection with your soul. • Meditate or do deep breathing exercises • Indulge in some spiritual practice • Spend time with nature • Take out time for things that make you happy • Think of yourself as your own best friend", "image": "https://thelifestylejournalist.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/bike-bicycle-cycling-6996109-e1648898889742.jpg", "author": { "@type": "Organization", "name": "Tlj", "url": "https://thelifestylejournalist.com/author/tlj/" }, "publisher": { "@type": "Organization", "name": "TheLifeStyleJournalist", "logo": { "@type": "ImageObject", "url": "https://secureservercdn.net/160.153.137.218/gxm.56a.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/cropped-TLJ-logo-768x241.png" } }, "datePublished": "2022-04-11", "dateModified": "2022-05-16" }

Successful People Believe in Themselves. If you’re going to succeed in creating the life of your dreams, you have to believe that you are capable of making it happen. Habit building is tough but it is also one of the most important things we need to do! This is because patterns, once established, use a different part of our brain. We don’t have to think about them, we do them, and they don’t drain our mental energy. Thus, the more good habits we can create, the more productive, happier, and successful we can become.

1. Having a Morning Routine: As basic as it might sound, having an organised morning routine, preferably an early morning routine, can do wonders for your personal as well as professional life. A good morning routine ensures that one is filled with confidence, peace and a positive attitude. As we start each day fresh, we can better focus on what is in front of us, prioritise our time, and, ultimately, increase our productivity.
• Avoid an alarm (if there’s no class or urgent meeting)
• Don’t use your phone first thing in the morning
• Make your bed
• Workout or go for a run
• Plan your day

2. Eating Right: You might have heard this – you are what you eat. To modify it, you are also how much of what you eat.
